About the author

Hi, I’m Vivi.

I write historical romance across the eras — Jane Austen variations, Regency, Tudor, and the long century in between. My books are about long letters, second proposals, court intrigue, returning soldiers, country houses, and the quiet moments at the edges of the historical record where the romances actually happened.

I’m drawn to slow burns, careful research, and the precise period word that turns a scene from costume drama into actual history. I write quiet women who become the centres of their own stories, courteous men whose feelings are far louder than their manners, and the small, exact moments where a letter is folded and a future changes.

When I’m not writing, I’m rereading Austen for the dozenth time, mispronouncing French at the Wallace Collection, or arguing that Anne Elliot is the most underrated heroine of the canon.
